I know, and am related to people like John. They hate (yes hate) Republicans because that's the party of the rich and/or people who have done a better job of winning life's lottery. In essence, they hate the rich and those that have more than they do. They hate minorities, and see government entitlements as a way to keep minorities powerless and as a way to punish the evil rich.
I consider myself a Republican and i'm poor. Yes, poor.
