Diver's killer set free in Lebanon

U.S. officials yesterday said the killer of a U.S. Navy diver had been released from "temporary custody" in Lebanon but refused to rule out bringing him to the United States by force. The Lebanese government criticized Washington's request to hand over Mohammad Ali Hamadi, saying the militant already had served a prison sentence for the 1985 murder of Robert Dean Stethem of Waldorf, Md. Hamadi, a member of the Hezbollah guerrilla group, was taken into custody upon returning to Lebanon after his release from a German prison Thursday. He had served 18 years for hijacking a TWA plane to Beirut and fatally shooting Petty Officer 2nd Class Stethem, who was 23 when he was killed. "What I can assure anybody who's listening, including Mr. Hamadi, is that we will track him down, we will find him, and we will bring him to justice in the United States for what he's done," State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said.

Save some time and trouble and just launch a Hellfire at him, calling it a "regrettable accident."

Put the full resources of the federal government to work tracking and capturing this scum. Call in the Mosad to help. Then send in a team of SEALs to bring him out, dead or alive.

GW, dont cave on this like you do so often, please.

It's French for "a hard slap on the wrist with a wet bus ticket."

This was all predictable....

SOME Germans just being Nazis -- and SOME Muslims just being Sand Nazis..

They share a long time Jew hating and Jew blaming "religion"...

If we want this Muslim terrorist killed - we will have to kill him ourself.
In fact - targeted assassination of our declared enemies - should become a standard practice...

In the Mohammedan world murder is just not that serious an offense unless it is of someone in the ruling class. Murder is regarded more as a family problem to be dealt with by clan revenge. Murder of foreign infidels is no more serious than shooting rabbits.

Time to deliver new orders for the USS Stethem to report immediately for independent steaming off the coast of Beirut.

This guy should commit the most unbelievable act of suicide by stabbing himself 107 times.

I heard this story on the radio today and my blood boiled.

Few of us know what type of man Robert Dean Stethem was.

He spoke with a young girl on that flight, minutes before he died. She wanted to comfort him. She quotes him as saying he knew that they would not all get off of that plane alive and he was glad that he was chosen to die. He said that he was not married and should be chosen. He said he didn't want anyone who was married to have to face that.
He willingly gave his life to save the other passengers on that plane.

And the article is wrong. He wasn't shot to death. He was beaten to death. Very brutally while the other passengers listened. After he died, his body was then dumped on the tarmac.

So how did this scumbag get from Germany to Lebanon without our getting ahold of him? He's a candidate to join Tookie and that's why they conspire with him to keep him free. Bastards!

We had that happen at Fort Knox a few years back.

An officer (captain or major) in the New York National Guard was there for summer camp and went out for a jog. His body was found a few hours later with more than thirty stab wounds to the chest, including eleven to the heart, yet the medical examiner still concluded that it was a suicide.

One of my coworkers who just retired from the Army was stationed out at Knox at the time and worked with this officer on coordinating training schedules and said that he was deeply disliked by his men. The family pushed for a criminal investigation into his death, but nothing was ever done.
