I saw it and loved it!

He asked Colmes "What part of illegal don't you understand?"

His name is John Graham Altman I think.

I saw the same segment last night too! I couldn't believe how blunt he was. Did you notice how he pointedly smacked down Alan Colmes when Colmes was talking about arresting the parents of a child being taken for medical care? The rep made it clear that what Colmes was saying wouldn't happen in all likelihood.

Also, Rick Lowry is an effective interviewer. I enjoy the show when he's subbing for Sean.

I think Lowry did an excellent job this week. Asked intelligent questions and even took on Alan a few times. Wonder who will sub for Alan next week? Elis or Beckel? At least Beckel is good for a few laughs when he subs.

JD is another GOPer who I'm looking forward to running for higher office. I'm pretty sure he plans on it... just not next year.

Ellis Henican? His voice is annoying and he's sarcastic and arrogant. Needless to say, I'm not a big fan of Henican!

By nominating me, my party has made a choice to welcome the new America.
George Bush from a campaign speech in Miami, August 2000.
He heard nothing. It compromises his legacy of a "new America".

I like the way Mark Steyn put it:

Of course, conservatives have been mad about a lot of Bush policies for a long time — education, immigration — but, in fairness to him, he campaigned as a massive federaliser of the school system and as a big nancy-boy pushover for illegal Mexicans.

Has Bush Blown It?

“Which United States citizens voted Vicente Fox into office? Vicente Fox was not elected by the American people—how dare he butt into our domestic policies,” said Tancredo. “I, myself, have a bit of advice for Fox: it’s not becoming of a member of the ‘international community’ to lob vague threats at one’s neighbor. No ‘amigo’ of the U.S. threatens our sovereignty, and no good neighbor would entangle itself in our domestic politics.”

Major props to Tom Tancredo for doing what a Bush administration spokesman should have done. Tom is doing the heavy lifting on illegal immigration and the invasion from that hostile territory named Mexico

Well, its his legacy. Here's an analogy that I believe is worth consideration.

While most informed people give FDR credit for his war time leadership and overall handling of the conflict, they also understand that he did a lousy job handling the Great Depression. In fact, if it wasn't for the onset of WWII the economic depression might have gone on for years. In 1940 the US had a 17% unemployment rate, along with anemic economic numbers across the board.

PresBush is in somewhat the same dilemma. Most informed people give him some level of credit for the overall prosecution of the WOT. Personally, I think Bush has shown remarkable leadership in Iraq. But Bush's liberal spending habits, expansion of the federal bureaucracy and his open border policy on illegal immigration has severely damaged his credibility with conservatives and tainted his Presidency.

Btw, have you a link to that speech by Bush?

The MSM is nothing more than the media arm of the Democratic Party whose job is to issue their press releases.

I will be voting for Tancredo too. He has said that he will make a run for the White house if noone else makes dealing with Illegal Immigration the centerpeice of their platform.

Tancredo has said ( and taken actions) to deal with this issue and he has also made it clear that it is his position that a nuclear attack on this nation by a muslim terrorist would a nuclear strike on Mecca in return.

That attitude of being open and honest about a RETURN nuclear strike saw this nation ( and the world) thru the cold war without nuclear attacks. Political correctness has eroded a proven policy of deterrant. Tancredo has my vote and my bet is that he has the votes of the majority of the average joes in this country.

I think Tancredo scares the CRAP out of both party machines because he is interested in actions rather than PC political gam playing.
