"Seeing that the sufferers are nearly all girls, and look at that age range, it makes me think it is more likely mass hysteria. I don't see how any wide spread environmental agent, whether terrorism or not, could affect only such a small subset of people. Girls in this age range have a unique ability to whip themselves into frenzy. So, hopefully they are not poisoned."

Bear in mind Chechnya is a Muslim Republic where girls are considered weaker than boys.

It is very possible that the Chechnics are experimenting with nerve agents on their own population before mounting an attack on Russia. Either that or the Chechnics are perpetrating a disinformation campaign.

There is no physiological reason why a nerve agent would work on girls and not boys. But it fits well with the Muslim boy bias.

This is disinformation, pure and simple.

Something to remember, this is near Gudermis, the only large city which didn't suffer. Why? Because the city fathers kicked all the Islamics out and welcomed the Federals in. They flat out didn't want the warlords and Jihadies and I believe that this is along the lines of revenge. The die hard Islamics are in the southern villages in the mountains. Must be the thin air and inbreeding.

The vast majority of them are girls. The only boy is my son. But now at home the boys are also complaining about headaches -- my other son, who's still at home, my neighbor's son."
