I don't think most folks really understand exactly how lethal the USA is... You should modify that to "how potentially lethal the USA is..."
There's no doubt that the USA has the firepower. The will to use it is another matter. We are reminded of that on a daily basis. It's going to take another 9/11 grade catastrophe or worse for the media and Democrats to take the war seriously. We're nowhere near that point yet.
