Is there a law requiring them to take Navy showers as well? rme I thought the toilet thing was stupid, now this. And how many inches of water are you allowed for a bath?

By the way, do you have one (or more) of those water saving toilets that you have to flush 4 times to get it to swallow? Yes, unfortunately, the funny thing is there's a black market now for Toilets from Canada......stupid bureaucrats, takes more of my energy (in flushes) and twice the water than the old toilets....

has it's own water heaterDo you have one of those wall mounted, instant hot water-never run out things? Hubby and I were talking yesterday about putting one of those in our new house.

customers install them themselves, rather than pay a union plumber to do it It's not as if they are that difficult to "install" unless a person can't turn a threaded object clockwise.

No, not yet. My wife and I are still hesitant about installing natural gas due the the price and the fact that Cascade Natural Gas Co. has a monopoly in our area. Our next door neighbor (east side of us) has it and my Aunt & Uncle (two houses to the west). We figured the line already ran down the ally, but nooooo, neighbor on the west side is "trunked" into another line. So for $5,500 they'll finish running the line down the ally & basically we pay for everyone else to get a cheaper hook-up. So that and the fact the I had just replaced the main water heater (electric) about a year before I remodeled the master bath, plus we have no other gas appliances we're holding out. We do have a 250 gallon LP tank for our fireplace insert.
My Aunt & Uncle have the in-line instant hot water heater and swear by it though....

Toilet expert: http://www.terrylove.com/crtoilet.htm Thanks for posting this. I am going to be in the market for a new toilet in the next few months to replace our useless one downstairs. I don't even try to use it, because it clogs to often.
