I'm on a "Merry Christmas" mission and I'm in full throttle. My little yellow VW Beetle has turned into a Christmas billboard with Merry Christmas written across the back window. Yes, I've decided to trek off to work everyday on the public highways with a message that seems to offend people.

"I'M OFFENDED THAT YOU'RE OFFENDED "
Ditto that.
Happy Festivest!
.
Never once, in all the times i've read the Constitution,
did I ever read any part of it that says, that anybody
has 'a Right not to be Offended'...No matter *what*
that piece of arrogant oligarchical trash O'Connor
says. She betrayed her Oath in her unmitigated
arrogance. The only thing good about her being on
the SCOTUS..is that her time to pervert our country
and it's laws, with her perversion pushing and
genocide, is allmost over
Well you know what they say when people can't handle it.
No matter what, it will be a Merry Christmas for Christians - our Lord Jesus Christ was born to save us!
This is how I interpret the Constitution concerning religion:
I/We can't force you to go to church, pray etc.
At the same time you/they can't prevent me from going to church, praying etc.
The latter is the part they just COMPLETELY ignore.
Please don't forget the "Holiday infant"
Merry Christmas everybody
What a sad life for a person who is offended by something so unoffensive! People like that will never be happy. They may as well dig a hole and curl up inside. It's beyond pathetic!
Oh yes and MERRY CHRISTMAS to you too!
Forgot to add that preventing me from saying "Merry Christmas" is just more of their "preventing" when it comes to religion.
Be sure to park for a few minutes in front of a Public Library, a Courthouse, a state capital and a townhall.
Climb that mythical "wall of separation" - a VW can do it!
MERRY CHRIST MASS!
Nah, I don't let other people's lack of self-confidence affect my personal self-confidence.
And a MERRY CHRISTMAS to all Freepers from National Morality. Com.

Well, Christmas is a federally recoginzed holiday that occurs on December 25th every year. The word merry, according to Merriam-Webster Online, means:
Main Entry: mer·ry
Pronunciation: 'mer-E
Function: adjective
Inflected Form(s): mer·ri·er; -est
Etymology: Middle English mery, from Old English myrge, merge; akin to Old High German murg short -- more at BRIEF
1 archaic : giving pleasure : DELIGHTFUL
2 : full of gaiety or high spirits : MIRTHFUL
3 : marked by festivity or gaiety
4 : QUICK, BRISK (a merry pace)
- mer·ri·ly /'mer-&-lE/ adverb
- mer·ri·ness /'mer-E-n&s/ noun
synonyms MERRY, BLITHE, JOCUND, JOVIAL, JOLLY mean showing high spirits or lightheartedness. MERRY suggests cheerful, joyous, uninhibited enjoyment of frolic or festivity (a merry group of revelers). BLITHE suggests carefree, innocent, or even heedless gaiety (arrived late in his usual blithe way). JOCUND stresses elation and exhilaration of spirits (singing, dancing, and jocund feasting). JOVIAL suggests the stimulation of conviviality and good fellowship (dinner put them in a jovial mood. JOLLY suggests high spirits expressed in laughing, bantering, and jesting <our jolly host enlivened the party).
I say, what's to be offended by that greeting? It isn't saying, "Worship my God or I'll cut your head off."
Nice Work!
Merry Savior of the World's Birthday
