Those are the houses the Californians are buying. They sell their 1500 square foot home in CA for 800K and then move here. I'm acquainted with a lot of the people that are doing this.
For example, I saw an article in Money where the ex CFO of Men's Wearhouse was retiring at the age of 44 and moving to Eagle where he was going to become an assistant coach at Eagle High School.

That's fine for the wealthy that move in from out of state. But what about the majority that live and actually work in Idaho? Idaho has some of the lowest wages in the country. We saw homes we wouldn't even consider, in cookie cutter, track neighborhoods for 385k.
