PING!
Why does his college get one federal dollar?
So if I'm reading this correctly, the "Professor" is implying Tillman's death was the result of a deliberate conspiracy by the evil Bush Administration to prevent him from meeting with his idol Chomsky?
I just read this fast...but, did this guy just insinuate that Tillman was killed because of his relationship with Chomsky...and the plans to use his "anti-war, anti-Bush" stance in the run up to the elections???
Didn't seem to work. I think the American people, except for those who don't like any war that is started by a Republican, understand that in any war, there will be soldiers who are killed by their own because of identification problems in the heat of battle, or for many different reasons. It is sad, just as it is when soldiers are killed in any battle, but it doesn't make the overall effort any less noble.
One mention of Chomsky discredits an author and article.
Is there the slightest bit of truth to this story?
I find it hard to believe.
I don't believe a word of this drivel. They SAY he was going to meet with Chomsky. They SAY he hated Bush. Any proof? Sounds like his mother is just a Cindy Sheehan-in-training. She, like Sheehan, does not honor his sacrifice with this crap.
I'm very skeptical. I understood that Tillman was killed in Afghanistan, but this story says Iraq. A fact like that would be nearly impossible to cover up.
I am sure that before its all over it will be Bush's fault that he was killed, or ordered killed, or whatever they are trying to say.
Everything is Bush's fault, everything! The dems are so hungry for power they are willing to bring down America in the process of gaining power. If they get that power that they so severely seek, will there be a Country left to have power over??
Dog food for people who love to swallow lies.
This is garbage.
Michael I. Niman
I could be wrong, but the good professor appears to have Democrat tendencies.
Eh? What is that about - sort of sets this guy's comments in context. What media is she a whoring for? Most can't stand her.

If the all powerful BUSH CONSPIRACY was so worried about soldiers against the Iraq war that it assassinated Tillman, why did they let Wesley Clark and Kerry live?
A growing number of "professors" seem to be dangerous lunatics.
And kudos to the "Humanist" for further discrediting their pathetic rag.
I don't believe a word of it.
The Tillman Jekyll and Hide crap smells. A concoction from the fever swamps of DU and John Kerry. I don't think any serious student of history would ever even think of meeting with the complete marxist phony Noam Chomsky. And as Mark Twain said, "The Thirteenth Stroke of a Clock is not only false of itself, but casts exceedingly grave reservation on the veracity of the preceding twelve..."
I suspected at the time that the left would take out Tillman for the expected anti-wot propaganda value. If they did, then this would be the typical "beat them to the accusation" tactic that they use habitually.
There is general agreement that Tillman was killed in a friendly fire incident. Unfortunately, from time to time that happens. The rest of it is complete out of left field, and I don't believe a word of it without seeing some better evidence than this creep.
"painted by dutiful media whores like Ann Coulter."
How nice.
Ann Coulter is a media whore?!!
That don't make a lick of sense.
The Pentagon, as it did with the Jessica Lynch story. . . .
I'll have to depend upon my memory to dispute this employee of Buffalo State College's story. Though registered I now find it difficult to access W-P stories.
The Pentagon never presented Private Lynch as a hero. A couple of employees of The Washington Post splashed the story of her "fighting to the death" on the front pages based upon a female army officer's feeeeeeling that that is what happened. No one knew at the time the real story.
As far as the Tillman family's tragic loss I can only say that if you are doing heroic things and tragically die by "friendly fire" it does not subtract from your heroism, IMO.
Not getting a consistent story out of the Pentagon does torment the Tillman family. But to say the confusion was intentional is wrong, IMO.
One thing that struck me about searching for info on the story was the use of the word "fratricide" -- a word that the employee of Buffalo State College jumped on given the word's conotation.
I did manage to get access to one old W-P story. The "news" article used the word fratricide. "Friendly" fire is bad enough -- but fratricide?! Why not "fragging" or is that too Viet Nam?
A quick search for info on the employee of Buffalo State College suggests to me that he is not without an agenda.
Now his typings make sense.
