It saddens me to say this but you are 100%correct in your evaluation of the current political class.
Guess what? It's not just the political class.
I know there are plenty on our side that take such an outraged attitude toward our social institutions because they don't actually have to deal with the people who push political correctness.
Our side can rail at doofus school administrators that expel students for giving mydol to a friend, but how many of us are willing to punish, or exact retribution from such an administrator...particularly if it's not your own child that was expelled?
When I find someone who is willing to come to blows with their cousin the ACLU lawyer before Christmas dinner, or tell their Mom "I don't need you either" when Mom tries to defend your Mary Mapes-like sister...then I'll be impressed with their commitment to fighting poitical correctness.
