Leader of the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) Abdul Aziz al-Hakim addresses a news conference in front of a poster of Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani in Baghdad, October 29, 2005. Al-Hakim met Kurdish leaders in the north on Tuesday, opening a series of talks among rival factions intended to ease friction over election results and begin building a governing coalition. This isn't anywhere near as bad as the media is painting it to be. We've known for over a month the left was already setting the media stage to drag defeat from the jaws of defeat once again. The Iraqi government will form a coalition of parties - which I worry about because one only ha to look at the EU to realize the danger of governments trying to rule by consensus.

Also THANK YOU Poland, and MERRY CHRISTMAS.
