Say it ain't so, Jeff!
Tomorrow, the NYTimes will run a front page story blaming the entire incident on President Bush.

The 50-year-old Reardon retired in 1994 Do you know what happens to guys his age in prison? I don't have firsthand knowledge, but it's a fair guess that Reardon isn't going to have a good time of it.
To: demkicker
Heard this morning that Reardon made 9 million a year. He is still getting pension checks of 6 figures a year plus he has no finanical problems and is still wealthy.
Which makes this even more bizarre.

You obviously don't know a dead otter when you see one. Oops, that's what Traficant used, too.

Reardon had a 20-year-old son who died of a drug overdose in February 2004, which has been "very difficult for him and his family," and has been on medication for depression. Reardon, who is married and has two other children, also underwent a heart angioplasty last week and has been taking medication for that condition. Lt. David O'Neill said Reardon did not have a gun and offered no resistance when handcuffed.
He isn't a kid so there's little room for excuse, but after reading this part of the story now I have to say it sounds like the man needs some serious help. I hope he gets it and finds peace.

I think he's gone a little loopy. Depression and anti-depression drugs playing yo-yo with his brain.
He'll likely plead to lesser charges, avoid prison and get a better doctors along with a new toupee.

He just had angioplasty.......he looks like he could be a potential heart attack patient as well. Sad how far some fall. I hope he can turn around; I pray he will. If he is into drugs he probably hasn't hit bottom yet. Time will tell.

I wish I made a tenth of that money, but it wouldn't be worth a nickel of it to have this guy's problems.
To: Excuse_My_Bellicosity
He sure didn't make much playing for the Twins.

Is that Traficante's rug? "You think it looks "natural" but it couldn't be faker if it had a chin strap."
