Aliens is my choice of best all time horror flicks. I'd agree with you on "Aliens" as all-time best action flick...
But the best all time horror flick for me has to be "The Ring". If you watched it for the first time...alone...with the lights out. Woof. I don't scare easy but that one got to me.

Mean Girls was '04. My sister showed it to me, and yeah, I liked it.
My biggest guilty pleasure is and always will be Rocky Horror.

I don't know if Aliens is culturally significant, but I would watch it again in a heartbeat: pure adrenaline.

The Aristocrats. Number 6????? Do people know what this movie is???

OMG, "The Ring" scared the holy hell out of me. I had scenes from the video flashing inside my head for three nights, and couldn't sleep a wink. I was worthless at work that week.

Batman Begins was very good. I wish this had been the first one and all those others had never been made.

A wire-fu movie about soccer? I am intrigued and wish to learn more.

Only movie I saw this year was 'Batman Begins'. I'm not familiar with most of the films on this list, but that is probably because we don't have an 'art theatre' in my town.

The Director's Cut roxxors. It makes the movie long as hell, but it's worth it. The "official" version seems rushed after seeing Cameron's original work.

Wallace and Grommit was good, but not on the top of any list.

I have to agree with you on that one...that movie brings a new meaning to "disturbing images". I have a coworker that is trying to get me to watch that "Emily Rose" movie...

The Aristocrats. Number 6????? Do people know what this movie is???The same brain dead hyper-porno joke repeated a million times is NOT my idea of a movie. More like the definition of purgatory!

We should do a Free Republic movie awards selection.
That would be terrific and we could call the award the Freepie.
