If I were prominent in the LDS, I would send female anti-FLDS missionaries into Colorado City to talk to the women.

Trouble is, the LDS church still believes in polygamy. Of course they will deny that fact.

BTW Colorado City is in Arizona along what we call the "Arizona Strip", a very narrow piece between the Grand Canyon north rim and the Utah border.

Thanks - I screwed up the geography.

I suspect that the LDS still favors polygamy as well. I would guess that if some future Supreme Court ever ruled that monogamy-only marriage was unconstitutional, the President of the LDS would receive a miraculous message the next day that polygamy was recommended LDS behavior again.

The LDS Church still believes in polygamy in the AFTERLIFE, which is obviously not what's going on in these cult groups.
