as my father used to preach to me from an early age:
"Losers gravitate toward other losers".
the guy is obviously talking about tipper
Isn't that west of the fault line where the San Fernando Plate is predicted by geologists to slide into the sea?
Al you made a boner again!
Because this is (a) Al Gore and (b) a press release, I'm skeptical.
I find it hard to believe Al would part with that much dough. That leaves to distinct possibilities.
1. He is an anchor tenant...getting the place for a big break in price in exchange for his celebrity status to draw other owners at higher prices. Easy way for a developer to fill those last 20 spaces (probably more) that are conveniently available in the press release.
2. Al's TV venture is footing the bill for it, i.e. the investors in his flop are paying for it.
He's a realtor. Only lawyers are paid a bigger percentage to BS.
"Its a sellers market. Its a buyers market. Its a fixer upper. Its got charm. Buy now or be priced out of the market forever."
The only piece of real estate creating a buzz is the fat parcel on Al's ass.Everyone wants to know who he sold it to and if the buyer is as gay as Al.
It's a given that he's getting a huge discount on the place in exchange for all the press coverage of where he's going to live."
This is standard treatment for many celebs these days.
I wonder when the next San Francisco earthquake will be. Just wondering......
Frisco deserves albore.
This is a joke right? People so excited to see and live near the infamous (drum roll please) Al Gore????????
And OJ found the real killers somewhere in South Florida. Algore never gave a damn about people in Tennessee.
Yeah, my first thought, too.
I'd expect to see his campaigning start sometime soon, too.
I note that Al and Tipper didn't buy a fixer upper in the Mission, complete with graffitti and spent hyperdermics in the drive...a typical, downtown, SF neighborhood.
Actually, yes, there's earthquake-y risk to that area especially for a frickin' highrise...the entire area where these condos exist is supposedly on land that is subject to liquifaction given adequate earthquaking.
Man, I hope he gets burned when the bubble bursts.
Yup, Al (I invented the internet) Gore has pulled another boner by investing over a million in earhquake real estate. He must want to be governator real bad!!!!
California Governor. This is a transparent carpetbag attempt.
Love to see him debate Arnold. He'd get his beard handed to him.
Then it would make more sense to move to Crawford, TX.
How perfect. The girlyman moves to the den of depravity where the US military is not welcome.
Just when I thought SF couldn't sink any lower...
