After New Years, my next paid holiday is Memorial Day.
I am a tax payer. We work. Schools, and govt employees- get President's day off. Not the real workers.

Exactly! And if you are self-employed or work for someone that's self-employed, you don't usually get paid holidays, vacations OR sick pay either (I don't).
