... way down yonder in Nooooo Ore Awr Leeeens. I'm sure you've shed countless tears as I have over the Queen City of the Delta. It's too hard to talk about, really.

Rte66, I have, indeed, shed many tears over the Queen City of the Delta ... but most of them were shed when we decided it was too dangerous to live there any more.

They always say 'tis an ill wind that blows no one some good ... we only pray that some good will come out of the disasters of 2005 that struck a wonderful Gulf Coast [the whole Gulf Coast, not just New Orleans] and that New Orleans will finally emerge from the chaos that followed Hurricane Katrina better than it was before ... smaller, cleaner, safer, less corrupt, less raunchy and more amenable to decent life.
