and here we have it in the blaring light of day so bright, blind men can see it. real jews in israel who fight on the front lines everyday for life and death. on the other hand, you have steven who is pampered, wealthy, ignorant and yet will tell those true fighters how they should minimize their life into a cheap movie. simply amazing. watch this movie to get a train load of oscar nominations.
big bump
I do not plan to see the film. Is it true that the only 'suicide bomber' in it is a jew??? That would be outrageous
Stevie Spielberg! Leave the serious stuff alone. Stick to your field of expertise. Making science fiction for children
My goodness! This guy is a double traitor.
/pre-emptive vs Moonbat arguement
"No one ever died from reading Der Sturner, but the culture it served caused 6 million jews to drop dead" - George Will
I heard the same thing too--one of his his " messages " ( from the ENLIGHTENED ONE of course...) is that " Recognition of Plights only COMES from seeking revenge--but the ACTION that would cause that REVENGE is relative.
To Libbies--EVERYTHING is " Relative " .
Just like--does anyone remember :
WHAT happened to the dems asking for TRANSPARENCY and ACCOUNTABILITY when WE " Deal " with Iraq- and how WE treat OUR " terrorist captives " !!
But what happened to Them and their media seeking answers to the BRIBED UN MEMBERS from Saddam Hussien??
I don't see too many INVESTIGATIONS of PROBES into what FRANCE, RUSSIA, GERMANY and China did to affect UN Votess!
You don't see any MOVIES coming out about the Niggest Social Rip-Off in History so far--let alone the 235 seperate Mass graves found in Iraq!
Happy New Year,
AirBorne Chris, Linda, Tom
Evil exists, and Israel has every right to defend itself, as do we all. This is Nazi terror redux, and God help the world if we let them roll over the world without a fight. It's eerily frightening to hear the nonsense of 'oh, can't we all get along' from people on the West Coast. Pray for peace is fine, but keep your powder dry and aim for the whites of their eyes. Islamofascists don't care how many they kill, they don't care if they die...they're going to paradise. Well, they're trying very hard to get nukes and fully intend to use them.
Spielberg and the rest of the moral relativist crowd are like that scientist in the old black and white version of 'The Thing'. The title might be 'It Came from Another World'. Anyway, the scientist allows the alien access to blood supplies at an arctic base and finally rushes down the hall to warn him that he's walking into a trap. (We can learn so much from you! We can live in peace! Blah, blah, blah.) Naturally, the monster bashes his head in.
The problem is that Spielberg and his pals are playing with our lives, not just their own. But I forgot, they're the elite, so smart, so much more ethical and self-righteous, they know so much more than the rest of us. In the immortal words of John F. Kerry, we should just sit down and shut up.
Spielberg is no freind of Israel. He is one of those liberal Jews who would have sold out his own to stay alive. Any sympathy toward Jordainias who call themselves palestinians and murder the innocent is a treasonous act against the Jewish people.
Long live Israel.
I'd sooner rip my own fingernails out with a pair of needle-nose pliers than see this movie.
before this article, jus thought movie would be more entertainment; though controversy reported might make more $$ for director....
More than anything, people like and including Spielberg are completely disconnected from the realities of human actions in any relationship with what they/Spielberg does.
He's just completely and utterly disconnected on an emotional level as to the hideous and torturous realities that have and still can affect people's lives. And almost everyone like and similar to him is in the same degree of protected disconnect.
For instance, many years ago, Spielberg was heard to exclaim a description of some degree of poverty struck helpless by circumstances, as finding "only several hundred thousand dollars remaining" in "one of" your bank accounts. ~Only~.
That statement (I paraphrased) he made in all seriousness, as some sort of empathy response about the idea of personal struggle, that statement well describes his degree of protected disconnect from the harshness of our world, of just how painful some situations are and can be.
Many of these sort of people are among the Left nad exist in a sortof academic utopia realm, which also explains their popularity among academics, rebellious youth and disenfranchised, antisocial adults otherwise.
He is "a Bolshevik Jew," as are many of his peers and cultural Jews who are dedicated Leftists, support the ACLU, and similar. They are still attempting to work out a communist-marxist state in some foolish, misguided belief that it's a protective, provisional state. It isn't. Bolsheviks, sadly, is what they are and remain and it IS communism that's their ideal. Shame that they've supplanted religious beliefs with such destructive ideology.
"What is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul."
That's too easy on Spielberg. He can and has made serious, meaningful films, such as Saving Private Ryan. He chose however with Munich to take a serious subject and use it to push a liberal, appeasement POV, and in so doing has betrayed his blood.
It seems he has with 'Munich"
This is a time to remember another famous Jew who, faced with outrageous mortal inevitability uttered these approximate words:
"Father forgive them, for they know not what they do"
Don't allow yourself to be goaded into outrage...for the glee of hateful so and so's.
I didn't like Private Ryan too much. It got boring, quit watching after 40 minutes. I'll admit the 20 minutes of the D-Day landing and invasion was very well done
