That's what I've been thinking too Pukin. I think the investigation started as soon as the WH found out they NYT had the information.

If the investigation did not start as soon as the WH had a inkling this was going on that would have been the highest in malfeasance on the WH's and DOJ's part. No doubt there has been some sort of sting operation going on over the last several months. I cannot wait.

I agree totally and I think as long as the info was contained, they did not want to indict anyone and expose the program. Now that it is public, they can go public with the investigation.
