It is Scottish engineer-speak.
There is also auld shart sine; auld lang cosine, etc.
Auld lang sine refers to the ancient practice of 'wireless' voice transmissions using long wave radio, via amplitude modulation, (AM) whereby the length of the sine wave was constantly changing in relation to a steady 'carrier wave'.
When the carrier wave (so-called because it carried the packets of information, like the bombs of a air craft carrier squadron) arrived it would drop its load of horrifically garbled information in the form of an incomprehensible burst of low fidelity noise.
That, in fact, gave rise to radio engineers developing "frequency modulation" (FM) systems, after they tired of everybody yelling at them, "Quit giving me any more of your static!"

If you don't have one, also rent or buy (that money "is like the price of a prostitute") a black (ALL black dogs are 'satans & supposed to be killed') pet dog (only hunting, herding, and guard dogs are allowed) and keep it inside (Moose 'angels' won't enter a house with a dog in it) and let it have some pork knuckle bones, to help in the celebration.
We'll probably have a ham or BBQ ribs that day.

I would love to see a shoot to kill order for the automobile arsonists. What a hoot that would be. DO IT FRANCE! The arson would stop overnight plus you would remove some Muslim "youth" from the gene pool and procreation pool

No kidding! France used to have balls. The French Revolution was a bloodbath! I hope that they find their manhood soon. France is an important part of Western Civilization and it is sad to see them succumb to degenerate Muslim barbarians.
The French military showed great courage in the Algerian war. The Muslim terrorism campaign was relentless, very barbaric. The same as in Iraq but with less explosives at hand. Many French Algerians were driven out who had never lived in France nor had their children. France was forced to absorb somewhere about one million refugees. Now France gets colonized by these Algerian and other Muslim pests.
