A senior Palestinian official says Palestinians share the sentiment of Iran's president that Israel should be "wiped off the map," or at the very least, moved to Europe.
The statement from Mahir al-Tahir, representative of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, was reported by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting News Network.
In November, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad threatened to "wipe Israel off the map."
Then in December, he suggested European nations should give up some of their territory if they believed the World War II-era Holocaust took place, noting, "certain European countries would have the world go with their stand that Hitler killed millions of innocent Jews in furnaces and have passed laws punishing anyone who says anything to the contrary."
"Granting without accepting that the Holocaust did occur, our question to the Europeans is: 'If innocent Jews were indeed butchered by Hitler, why should Palestinians be made to pay the cost in order to seek redress for the occupiers of Jerusalem?'"
Ahmadinejad continued: "If the killing of Jews in Europe is true and the Zionists are being supported because of this excuse, why should the Palestinian nation pay the price?"
"The Islamic world should give up its policy of passivity and deal with the Palestinian issue more actively," he said.
On Friday, al-Tahir of the PFLP stated Ahmadinejad's view is based on historical realities.

I wish that somebody would challenge these terrorists to produce a map of the ancient world that shows a country called "Palestine".

nutsOne would assume that Israelis would also agree that they'd like Palestine wiped off of the map. So? Are the Palis the only ones you consider "nuts"?

One would assume that Israelis would also agree that they'd like Palestine wiped off of the map. Why would you make that assumption?

Palestine will also be relocated to the upper atmosphere at the same time. Nuclear strikes are not surgical.

Me: One would assume that Israelis would also agree that they'd like Palestine wiped off of the map.
You: Why would you make that assumption?
---------------------
A total lack of any news or online stuff about Israelis supporting the Palestinian aspirations for nation status.
That's why I use the word "assume"...the absence of any evidence of those sentiments doesn't mean they don't exist....prove me wrong. <^..^>

The God of Abraham disagrees, and the Islamicfascists are in for a bit of a surprise someday.
God is going to openly wage war on the attackers of Israel, and it isn't going to be pretty for them.

That's why I use the word "assume"...the absence of any evidence of those sentiments doesn't mean they don't exist....prove me wrong. How about evidence to the contrary? Israel not only tolerates Palistinians, but employs them also. 20% of Israel's population is Arabic and they are allowed to practice their religion. Compare that with most Arabic countries where Christian or Jewish worship is persecuted.

I don't think he has the OO to try it.

I believe that he was refering to the fact that Israel does not appear on Palestinian maps. Israel is usually shown as "Palestine".
