Today's session is for the swearing in of Menendez and nothing else. Frist isn't even there.

Frist's word regarding the Alito nomination is that AFTER he is voted out of Commmittee, Alito will be the sole business of the Senate. He hopes for an orderly and dignified ebate on the nomination (he says through Murkowski, who stood in for the leader this morning).

OH...thanks for the information...I wondered, because when I looked at C-span's schedule for today, last night---it had the Senate session scheduled for 10 HOURS!!!

I don't think they work that long during busy times--LOL

Also, Menendez is such a jerk...I wouldn't waste time watching his swearing in...blech
