I beg to differ with that assessment. There are too many Democrats involved for this story to have any "legs" in the mainstream press.
See post #4. And, you may be right, but, time will tell...

Hopefully this thing will really blow open and expose many of those Dems. Then these cockroaches cannot hide -- and cockroaches "have legs".... :-)

if this interests you, there is a "MUST READ" thread now about "Money,Mobsters,Murder". It's a long read, but it's incredible. This is just the very tip of the iceberg. I think there's gonna be a huge shake-up in DC over this whole story. It's gonna ruin a lot of people on both sides of the aisle!
Powerline has comments that most of what Abramoff pleaded to was business to business scams. The only congresscritter mentioned in the Plea was Ney of Ohio and there really doesn't seem to be much of a case there.
Not that that will matter to the MSM, but it looks pretty weak.

I completely agree. But notice how you have to go to Fox News to see any reporting of the massive amounts of money taken by democrats.
However, its amazing how most liberals in the MSM are twisting this whole story to some how "get Tom Delay", which I saw last night on Chris Matthews. The MSM does not even understand the story.
Let's see...more went to the party in charge...how unusual.
