Oswald was the only lone-nut assassin in US history who did not proudly claim his crime. He called himself a patsy. And of course, the proof of conspiracy (at least for me) was Jack Ruby, a long-time minor mob figure showing up at just the right moment in Oswald's transfer to kill him.
I still think it was a setup. And I still bet it was LBJ and Hoover.
So? A murderer lied also. You see that all the time. I don't know where Ruby fits. He obviously never seemed like the kind of guy who would do the "patriotic" thing and kill the guy who took out the president. But all credible evidence gathered during the investigation points to one gunman firing from the sixth story of the book depository. A multi-shooter conspiracy to murder the president of the United States in public view and with the help of government officials willing to play dumb in order to let (insert group or nation here) get off is preposterous in the first place.
It's time for your meds.
"I still think it was a setup. And I still bet it was LBJ and Hoover."
Weak point.
What would Hoover have to gain in a such a infamous conspiracy?
Money? Power?
He could easily get what he wanted on his own.
He already had enough to blackmail BOTH Johnson and Kennedy to keep his job and pull strings.
Johnson had better motives but not the guts to do it.
Oswald was capable and motiviated enough to and did act alone.
