They are right to fear it. And, when we are so vulnerable to terrorism, it would be a bad idea. The Islamic revenge would be terrible. IMHO, the jihadists would welcome a more open struggle with a Christian people for their own purposes.
Any fool can see that historically Islam is not a high-jacked religion of peace. It's the warlike religion of highjackers.
