Read this quote from the article:
"Gingrich was one of the primary architects of the GOP takeover of Congress in 1994, when Republicans swept into office in part by promising to rid Capitol Hill of Democratic corruption. Bush first campaigned for the White House as an outsider, too, promising to restore honor and integrity to the office, though he himself was ultimately ousted in part over an ethics scandal."

course, if you use it later, you'd be accused of manipulating the document.
Right. That is why I am also saving the current one in graphic format.

He was not ousted, he stepped down; generally considered a reasonable and an honorable option when faced with foolish opposition. However, it also happened to be right after Speaker-elect Bob Livingston stepped down for having an affair (he was trying to shame Bill Clinton into doing the same). Gingrich was also having an affair with a staffer, whom he later married.

It is still there. I just went to the site and put the article on my other monitor. I will keep checking to see how long it stays there.

It's gone now, (or you may need to shift-refresh the page in your browser). It now reads:
Gingrich was one of the primary architects of the GOP takeover of Congress in 1994, when Republicans swept into office in part by promising to rid Capitol Hill of Democratic corruption. Gingrich first campaigned for the White House as an outsider, too, promising to restore honor and integrity to the office, though he himself was ultimately ousted in part over an ethics scandal.
I sure hope the big-time bloggers pick up on this. This is a great catch!

Please don't be offended if I correct this:
Using Windows? Control, alt, print screen puts it on the clipboard, whence it can be copied to pasted into just about any graphics program.

The correction is now reading Gingrish ran for the White House, Gingrish did not run to the White House. They were in such a hurry to fix their bias and they still get it wrong!

"..or already written story, waiting for the event to happen ?"
That's what my bet is. Just like the obituaries that are mistakenly run on famous people once in awhile.
An obit I can see having portions of it written ahead of time. An actual "news" item? They're just hoping against hope that it will happen, and will find whatever small story that leads in that direction to help it happen.

I am beginning to think it is about Gingrich, not President Bush. It is not the best writing and is very confusing.

Rush says all the time that the MSM reports the news not as it is, but as they want it to be. The left has always been very good at doing that. Now, if they don't change that mistake, years later someone can look back and get this 'official' news item on a Google search and they will think this is the way it was.

Read the paragraph about Gingrich. The sentence in question is about him, not President Bush.

Forget that last post. They mentioned Pres. Bush instead of Gingrich in the first article. Duh! :<{
