I believe the reason someone left us with the overview called revelations and other "prophectic visions" is to empower us. If we do nothing, then the path described in those passages is guaranteed. We have been enabled by someone who has seen the future. It is up to us to alter the path if we so choose.

Um, no. The prophecies in the Book of Revelation (not "Revelations") are just that- prophecies. Things that WILL happen. The future. Can't be stopped. Can't be altered. If a single prophecy was not fulfilled, God would be shown to be a liar, which is not possible.

sorry we disagree

lets see, why would someone tell us the future? so we can prepare. why would someone give you a roadmap? to help you get to where you need to be. i doubt god wants us to collectively roast in nuclear hell. if he did, he would have allowed it to happen long ago.

god also had enemies as he pointed out. he talked of satan. others talked of the antichrist.... which I believe is the collective soul of islam. the ANTI Christ is personified in their actions.... and walks the earth with us.

guaranteed if we let them continue with their actions there will be a nuclear hell on earth

if god wanted us to collectively roast in hell he would have done it himself, along time ago (and we wouldn't be waiting for some 1,2,or3 thousand years) but he is not that kind of god.

but i believe he does have adversaries who would like to see a roaster of anthing realated to god or christ.
