Israel cannot accomplish taking out Iran's nuclear threat on their own - They don't have the needed SEAD or logistic aircraft (not to mention no F-117's). Unless they plan on a "one way trip" for many of their finest pilots. Not a real good solution for Israel in either the short or long term.

For Israel to be successful they would need a joint U.S. operation. However, this would play extremely bad in the Arab / Muslim world.....thus offsetting many of our recent gains.

If and when Iran is taken on via a military option it will come from a mostly U.S. strike (with no direct Israel involvement) - A few NATO Nations will be along as well.

The current situation leaves no real good military option however. But the clock is ticking down until we'll have to play the hand that is dealt us.

That time is not here yet though.

Gulf of Arabia resolution coming soon (for those old hands from the 60's)
Plans for unexplained explosions, loss of communications, missing leaders, unidentified planes, power disruptions, massive chaos in the general population with HELP being given to Iran by some Neighbors to stabilize the situation ..a very complex plan with the outcome of a non nuclear Iran lead by secular leaders. A hope and a prayer they can pull it off.
