I am wrong? Sharon declared there would be no withdrawels from Gaza too. The police were handing out eviction notices to Jews in Hebron the day Sharon keeled over. What Sharon says and what Sharon did are often two seperate things.
Are you seriously trying to tell me daily artillery rocket barrages, the borders being open for weapons smuggling, Hamas in control and belly bombs is what Israel hoped for?
I dare say Israel hoped Sharon was as good as his word and would fight terrorism, and not surrender land as was his promise when he ran for office.
I suspect YOU got what YOU wanted for Israel. I suspect the landslide victory for the Likud on the platform of fighting terrorism is what ISRAEL wanted, and is certainly what they voted for.
Indeed may God Bless Sharon and his family through this crisis, I sincerely hope Sharon recovers enough to repent for his sellout before he stands before God.
Well put!

MISC THOUGHTS ON SHARON, TERRORISTS & MORE
BY Steven Plaut
Thursday, January 05, 2006
1. When Sharon dies, one of the biggest questions will be whether the
Israeli police and prosecution will be indicting everyone in Israel who
says "Good riddance" - for "incitement" of course, just like after
Rabin's death. Will the police arrest ONLY "right-wingers" from the Gush Katif movement or also the leftists who will
be saying that. And if the cops do NOT arrest the leftists saying it, it
will because the Israeli establishment only prosecutes "Right-wingers"
for poor taste, and never Left-wingers for treason, and THAT is in many ways a major part of the Sharon legacy.
Keep it up, you are on a roll and it couldn't be said any better.
Yes, prayers for him and his family and the country.
But do you support him or his policies? A resounding no.
Appeasment got you hitlers rise.
