Hristos se rodi!!!!
I celebrated my second Christmas with my Serbian Orthodox brothers and sisters last week. Then, last Sunday, I served as (lay) assisting minister in our liturgy in my Lutheran congregation. In that liturgy, I prayed aloud for my Serbian congregation, as well as for Serbs in the homeland, especially those in Kosovo and Republika Srpska!!!!
With the way that the ELCA's revisionist mis-leaders (as with nearly all liberals) not only demonize Serbs, but especially Republika Srpska, that was truly a "radical" (i.e., Christian) act!!!!

The Serbian Cycling Challenge to support the Decani Monastery Relief Fund resumes late Summer 2007. After a 2 summer hiatus, it will pick up where it left off, a growing curiosity that opens up hope for the good people of Serbian Kosovo.
By end of February, the new website will be up and running with all the pictures from prior races.
The course will be extended with a start in Zagreb with it ending in Skopje. The Serbian Churches of Zagreb and Skopje will be the start/finish.

One of my end-of-year charitable donations was to the Decani Monastery fund, after seeing Father Nektarios' appeal message.

One of the photo captions of the service says the Serb choir conductor is crying, so I wonder if he is crying about the burnt church or the state of Serbs there, but also maybe the service or music got to him.
The conductor of a Serb choir cries during a service for Orthodox Christmas in the fire-gutted Serbian church in Mitrovica, 40 (30 miles) kilometres north of the Kosovo capital Pristina, January 7, 2006. Around 100 Serbs crossed the Mitrovica bridge into the Albanian-dominated south to attend the service, under NATO guard on Saturday. REUTERS/Hazir Reka
