Vick won't have things handed to him, ala a big ass contract, like Leaf did. He will have to earn his spot to even be put on the team, much less the field.

For those not familiar with the disaster.

QB Ryan Leaf was drafted by San Diego.
Leaf was the second pick overall in the 1998 draft and got the richest contract in club history, including an $11.25 million signing bonus. But his rookie season was a disaster on and off the field. He was benched halfway through the season because of poor play on the field and boorish behavior off it.

Vick will probably not get anything big on the signing bonus and, depending on where he's finally selected (and he will be selected) might just make the league minimum....
