You need local knowledge to find those leaves. Color needs huntin' in the fall and the best way to find color is to watch local weather forecasts. They post maps which show where the best can be found. Then, when you find them, it depends on the weather and lighting. If all that doesn't work, I recommend Paint Shop Pro. ;)
I'm off to teach the first art class of the year. See y'all later.

Wow ... cool post StarCMC!!!
Great find! Funny how those patches bring back so many memories!! I actually submitted the winning logo for the Steadfast when we crossdecked. Looks like someone has since added the compass points to the Orcas, but it still looks good. In fact when we switched out the Venturous for the Steadfast, as a young JO I was the fortunate selection to conn with the pilot through the Panama Canal twice. Some great memories!! Thanks StarCMC

BOTH of them did, they're BOTH in use, and they BOTH need a pressure-wash from all the mud over here right now.
We were VERY grateful for the arrival of such a practical thing!

I only sent one door mat. I wonder who sent the other one? Or were there two in that one box I mailed?

Oh, that's cool!
We do have two backdoors and I forgot that we ordered two doormats for the two of them. When they came, hubby didn't like them as much as the previous model.
We are feeling very good now that it all turned out well.
Thanks for the news!
