Forget that comment about the cockpit, the pics you just posted show it's in pieces...

Nice pictures. Is it just me or does it really look as if the wings were blown off by a big BOOM? That's a mighty big hole in the fuselage. You're not the only one to think that. The first thing I thought after seeing the images was that a big BOOM brought this thing down - not running out of fuel.

I'm pretty sure Adolf Ahmadinejad has banned that.

Very encouraging development if true. What is the source of the pics, public or private?

"Public!"
I should have said private or 'official' I guess.
Mind you, if I was a despot, there's no way I would release these pics. Not until I had my cover-story scripted. There are too many holes in this story, almost as many holes as there are in the fuselage...something tells me these pics are not of the official kind.

It is believed that these guys were opposed to Ahmadinejad presidency and protested that! What source says that? Everything I read says the Revolutionary Guard greatly supports this insane Ahmadinejad.

Whatever. If true, it's good to see the crazy man is unravelling and maybe killing his own. His own assassination can't be far behind.

Did you read this article? (snip)
Less than three months ago, on August 15, 2005, Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad took office as the new "selected" President of the Islamic Republic of Iran with huge doubts over validity of the elections.
· He immediately purged nearly all senior governing positions of older generation clerics and officials and replaced them with his military colleagues of the elite Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) about 350,000 strong, in which, prior to becoming Mayor of Tehran, he had been a commander.

That doesn't leave us with too many people one can trust. I'm thinking maybe you are ok, but what about me, can I trust myself LOL?
The next few weeks should be very interesting.
