"Being a decent human being shouldn't be that hard.",p> This statement exposes the naivete of the author. It is incredibly difficult to be a decent human being these days. ,p> The feminist view of relationships with men is essentially materialistic. The psychology of imprinting in relationships between men and women is ignored, for example.

Also the fact that intersexual relations are dictated by deeply engrained behaviours based on evolution of the human race, is also ignored by feminists.

The fact is that men and women need each other and are incomplete without each other.

Materialism, the objectifying of men, has lead to a disolution of the family. Men do not need to live with materialistic , selfish women. Men just take what the want or can and move on. Men have become hunters and gathers in their relationships with women, rather than agrarian cultivators of single relationships

And now feminists complain?

Increasingly American men marry women from a traditional society such as Japan, Korea or Saudi Arabia. Perhaps there is a message there.

feminist view of relationships with men ...

Feminists don't have relationships with men, only other feminists.

How is this so? I'd think if anything, the traditional marriage with the man being the sole breadwinner would have made women more materialistic in how we view men, not less.

Because they want a power differential in their marriage. They want a lesser, not a partner.

Some men just happened to be in Korea, Saudi, Japan, the Ukraine, etc etc, and happen to meet someone who they later married. That's all fine and dandy. However, let's be abosolutely clear: Those who went shopping for foriegn brides via the internet and mail order services are just a bunch of losers who weren't finding dates in the good ol' USA. Maybe with the occasional misogynist who wants a doormat for a wife tossed in for good measure.

Yes.... and the message is that some men are in for a big honkin' surprise when they see how fast these women adjust to American life. ;-D

Very beautifully said.

IF (and that's huge if) I ever get married again, my new bride will come from a traditional society.

The feminist view of relationships with men is essentially materialistic.

1.My women patients say they "don't really like men, but find that they need them around."

2.Why is it that so many men won't commit?

Two utterances by a female social worker "psychotherapist," about ten minutes apart, with no sign of the faintest recognition of the implications of what she had just said.
