For most of those opposed, take your pick of a zillion issues. Bad law, trumping of states rights by the federal, stretching of the constitution to the breaking point, etc. For Ted? Yeah, it's money. It's contributions from organizations that supposedly support women that he's after, automatic deposits far more regular than his paycheck for the party, and votes cast automatically.
As a conservative, I find Roe a useful tool for quickly weeding out those who lack the ability to distinguish right from wrong. If a candidate is pro-abortion you can quickly determine he/she is deficient in the conscience arena.
It is similar to the way the police identify suspects. They specify the perp's gender and race. That quickly identifies the majority of those who are not suspects. Then they focus on weight, height, hair color, etc.
Being pro-life doesn't guarantee a person has ethics, but it sure eliminates most of those who don't.
