Dude, you need to change your dentist. I heard root canals were terribly painful also and mentioned to my dentist that I really disliked needles and drooling for half a day after the procedure. Two root canals to date without anesthesia, no pain (Well, just twinge or two) and I felt felt great afterwards. It is all the hands, you really need to shop around.
That's probably why they got along so well.
I have seen the commercial previews but even that couldn't get me excited. AS for watching the whole show - no way! I'd rather sleep or read a good book than waste my time with her issues.
Oprah DESERVES to be scammed. She's liberal, she's visible, a lot of naive minds tune into to her and they accept her inane political drivel.
Perhaps some of them will revise their unnecessarily elevated opinion of her.
Exhibit A - "The Bridges of Madison County"
Exhibits B - ZZZ - The never-ending deluge of weight loss, self-help and New Age books on American best seller lists
I did, once. 30 years ago. It was the most painful thing I have ever experienced, far more painful than the initial car wreck that smashed up the teeth and necessitated the root canal in the first place.
I'd like a dentist to confirm, but I believe if the root is completely dead, the procedure can be performed without anesthesia.
Don't kid yourself..
Men think everything another guy says is BS, regardless..
As for women, they know it's BS, but they "want to believe"...
"And men can smell BS when it's coming from another guy, but not when it's a woman doing it."
Not true. From Day One, I smelled BS all over my soon-to-be-ex-daughter-in-law. Unfortunately, my son didn't have as keen a nose as I. Nor did he have ears to hear. Now, he has Hell to pay. And pay, and pay, and pay...
Correction: The KOREAN guy . . .
Oprah did a show on the subject of "Being on the Down Low" once. It was a means for a man to not only deny his own homosexuality but to make the issue of being gay a racial issue.
What a joke!!!!!!
Men are BS artists....
It's what makes us charming. A women has to decide if she's willing to buy what we are selling.
:-)
But, I happen to know someone who was in and out of county jails for several years, was in two mental hospitals, and spent two years in prison before getting sober and starting a wholesome life with a wife and children and a steady job.
Perhaps he needs to write his own book.
I actually saw a bit of his appearance on Oprah when I was at the gym. I thought he enjoyed recounting his screwup stories a little too much. He seemed strangely proud of them. And now it turns out he's proud of his lies.
And from what I've read about the book, it's astonishing to me that anybody would believe these stories in the first place. They're not even halfway credible, particularly the nonsense about the girlfriend he met in rehab who killed herself because she couldn't wait 12 more hours to see him. Gimme a break.
Sounds like a lot of BS to me.. ;oD
when was the last time you watched? Seriously.
That is the dumbest, most ignorant response I've read on FR, and that's saying alot.
Thanks for that, jack. No offense meant to anyone.
One Pentecostal minister kept thrilling his congregation about stories of his evil life as a druggie, etc. Later I heard how haggard he looked because of his hard work. Still later his wife presented the board with a detective's report about all the affairs he was having in the congregation. So much for charisma!
Clinton's election and re-election proved that America can support bums and even love them. I would call him a criminal, but that is too nice for him and Lady Macbeth.
