This is exactly like Vietnam. Down to the almost the last detail. The only difference is we're pursuing a policy of victory. All the players are exactly as they were 30 years ago.
We're winning because of that single difference.

During the Vietnam war, Mr. and Mrs. America got all their information from Walter Cronkite and the New York Times. Little Jane and Johnnie America learned what to believe from their professors and the dealers who got them high.
Today we have the Internet and cell phones. Of course we are winning.

Well said. Another difference is that President Bush is permitting the commanders in the field to run the war. During Viet Nam, Lyndon Johnson and arm chair critics in Washington, D.C., ran the show.
What a difference a REAL President makes!!!
