The magazine to the stars, Variety, called the New York Times’ James Risen a “journalistic hero.” In an article about the problems that Risen’s new book, "State of War: The Secret History of the CIA and the Bush Administration," might pose for the Times, Variety reporter Michael Learmonth began by offering great praise for the author: “After years of entanglement with Judith Miller, the New York Times can celebrate a true journalistic hero in James Risen, the reporter who uncovered the NSA eavesdropping story.”

Learmonth continued:

I know what I'd like to give this hero.

You gotta understand. Variety and it's audience is not like us. We are Americans. Variety's audience is "the stars." Anti-American, treasonous low-lifes are always heroes to "the stars."

Okay, Variety, here's something to thank your "hero" for:

Remember a couple of years back, before your tiny Hollywood minds had forgotten all about 9/11? Remember all that fear and paranoia, and all the elaborate security precautions around the Academy Awards? Remember how you "thought" that would be a prime terrorist target because if they blew up all the celebrities, Americans would have nobody to tell them what to think?

Well, thanks to your "hero," maybe the terrorists can now make Democrat-protected overseas calls to their bosses in al-Qaida and finally finish planning that big Oscar attack.

Have a pleasant evening!

Hollywood and Variety have always loved Communists and traitors. Jane Fonda, Harry Bellafonte, Danny Glover, Mike Farrell, Allan Alda.

Well Variety Magazine joins an interesting group with that praise. Al Qaeda and Taliban members agree. So do Al Zarqowi's suicide bombers. So do those intent on committing terrorist attacks on U.S. soil, who don't want to get caught and need to know just what the government is up to, to stop them.

Variety, my hats off to you. Not many businesses wanting to be successful in the U.S. have the balls to side with the Enemies of the United States and all it's citizens.

Ballsy? Yes. Intelligent? No. Headed for bankruptcy? I would certainly hope so.

The spin of the liberal whores will be relentless. I hope he goes to jail along with the sources that leaked to him. Hopefully, he will be marched down to the Senate Intelligence Committee for a little show and tell.

This is pay-off to Risen which is intended to render him "untouchable" in the event that the Government uncovers evidence about his complicity in compromising classified defense information, or otherwise compels him to testify about the "sources"/traitors from whom he got his information. Let's all hope that it will be cold comfort to him as he relaxes at "Club Fed" someday.
