This morning, Senators will question Judge Alito during a third round. They will then go into a closed session, to review the FBI background investigation on the Supreme Court nominee. Outside witnesses may be called to testify this afternoon, as well as the American Bar Association, to discuss its recommendations.

Katie then trained her sights on Biden's motormouth, quoting this brutal assessement by Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen thusly:

OHHH... you should have stayed - they only got better! /s Charles Hurt from the Wash Times was just giving a recap and said the testomonies from the judges today in favor of Alito were "relatively boring", but the real excitement should be tomorrow when the witnesses called by the democrats speak. Noooo. no media bias there!

It is perfectly obvious to me that Specter is totally onboard on this one. He made it plain, again and again, including most significantly, including when he said that what one thinks a justice will do about Roe etc, is often not in fact what actually happens. That was a MAJOR signal from the man.
