Jan. 13, 2006 — Today, according to Pakistani military sources, U.S. aircraft attacked a compound known to be frequented by high level al Qaeda operatives. Pakistani officials tell ABC News that al Qaeda leader Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri, Osama bin Laden's top lieutenant, may have been among them.

Not being talked about much, is that we appear to have bombed a site within Pakistan, which contained people who were al-Queda, and the Paks admit they knew the alQ were there

I hope so but, I'll hold off the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland smiles until the story is confirmed and the body is shown.

"..may have been among them."

"May" leaves a lot to be desired. Lets see his stinking corpse.

I hope they got the S.O.B.

But since our chains have been yanked so many times before, I'll wait until I hear official word, then I'll celebrate.

It's all good, man. Intel had Zawahiri in or about to arrive in that area. There are now five high-level AQ operatives assessed to be dead. Sure, I'd prefer he's among them, but even if not this was a major success in the war on terror. God bless all our troops, but especially the ones involved with this precision strike!
