George Clooney is convinced he ruined John Kerry's chances in the race for US president in 2004 - by snubbing an invitation and hurting his feelings.
The Ocean's Twelve actor was one of several screen stars invited to ride on Kerry's election train, but it all went downhill for the Democrat when Clooney stayed away.
He recalls: "Kerry asked me to ride on his train - he had a train going cross-country after he was nominated and some actors went on board. I called him and explained that I couldn't do it. I'd hurt him. I'd actually caused him harm at the polls."
Cripes, I thought he was going to say he cost Kerry the election because he campaigned with Kerry and opened his dumb mouth too much.
What a narcisstic f**ktard.
Sorry, George. You're not nearly that influential.
Kerry ruined Kerry's presidential race by being a traitor since the 60's and a flip-flopper. And his wife is a ditsy bimbo. And he's a philanderer. And he threw a baseball and football like a girl. And I've never seen a more lame "salute" than the one he gave at the democRat convention. He looked like an idiot.
And he looked pretty stupid in that bunny suit, too.
(Did anyone else know that Kerry was in Vietnam?)
Oh, (gasp) guys!
You don't know how long I've laid
in bed worrying about this.
One jerk ruining it for another jerk.
I'm glad it's out. Now I can quit
worrying about it.
Yep.
Even worse, it appears that Clooney name sank him.
I don't know anything about the dad, but read some stuff that he was trying to distance himself from his son and vice versa because the son was dragging him down.
There was some heartbreak stuff in there because (and I do not know the father) he already had some kind of name recognition and was well liked, until people found out who his son was.
See to it that the same thing doesn't happen when Hillary invites you to campaign for her.
No kidding!
Wonder if he thinks the sun wouldn't come up if he didn't get out of bed. What a loser.
Obviously he's still way too narcissistic about his supposed sway in politics. Actually, I think he should blame himself for not taking Alec Baldwin's advice in 2000 - he should have left the country. His continued presence on our shores must be to blame for all the Democrat losses in 2004.
PHMIGOSH!! Hilarious!! Think this guy's ego is a little out of whack or what??
This one begs for keywords.
Assclown, asshat, breetend doctor and babycornteeth come immmediately to mind.
ego be thy name.
Nuts. They are all nuts.
Dear George,
Don't lose any sleep over it, you are giving yourself way too much credit. Kerry didn't have much of a campaign to wreck and he did a fabulous job of wrecking it himself....well with some help from Ter-ray-zah maybe.
Sincerley,
Kalee
PS. And come to think of it some guys called The Swift Boat Vets helped sink him too and I'd bet they aren't losing a wink of sleep.
Who's George Clooney?
Guess that means he hasn't figured out why both of his movies were at the bottom of the barrel in the numbers game last year.
It was 60 degrees this afternoon and now we're having a blizzard!
George must be Rosemary's grandbaby. To complete his self importance he must follow both Babs Streisand and Arriana Huff n Puff by publishing a newsletter so lib midgets can quote his pearls of wisdom.
It's all about me, it's all about me.
Are you in a parallel universe?
