Please, no apology...I was just kidding with you.

But I do reject the circular socialist map.

I prefer the straight line graph NOT taught in Maine schools nor American Universities. (and certainly not European NOR British schools)

The straight line graph puts strict American Constitutionalist/limited-government types on the exteme right (only outflanked by real no government anarchists)

As you move to the left, you will encounter RINOs, the one or two moderate democrats, then...Socialists, NAZIs, Communists and all kinds of totalitarians.

So the map is based on a rating of philosophies ranging from total control to total freedom.

Of course the Libertarians don't like me when I say that.

They have a complicated diamond shaped map with two axes, and four quadrants.
