The Massachusetts disease has spread to New York State where droves leave and the countryside and cities are being depopulated.

All that is left is unionists, limousine liberals, civil servants/bureacrats and educationists, and the rest are self destructing weighed down by the evil twin albatrosses of high taxes and oppressive regulations.

There is no evidence of the political leanings of the people who are moving out in this article. For all we know the liberals could be moving out to corrupt other states with liberal colonies.

They had 16 congressional seats and 16 votes for president in the 1920's.

Now they have 10 seats and 10 votes.

Soon they will lose another one...maybe two in the next census.

Yep...liberal communism will do that to a state...reduce it's moral standards and financial prosperity sinks to lower levels too. Look out Ca, NY and NJ...you going down too. Corrupt liberalism will drag you down it's rat hole existence.

"Two words - Kennedy and Kerry."

Believe me, the problem goes way beyond those two. You're just scratching the surface if that's as far as you go. I must say the the ones who have moved to southern NH have made those counties on the border RED and I congratulate them for that.

NH is the fastest growing state in the region and easily the most conservative. Anybody think that's just a coinkydink?

They wouldn't have this problem if they shared a border with Mexico.

Isn't Maine already worse off than Mass? Or at least already going down that path? My parents live in NH and I do fear for what you suggest, however.

The bad part of this is that these Mass. refugees are moving to states with more sane governments bringing their stupid voting habits with them. Watch as NH and Maine become more blue as Mass. becomes more empty. Instead of one screwed up state we will have three. Your generalization about Mass votes is wrong, completely wrong. I'm moving out of the state this coming year because of the taxes and because my REPUBLICAN vote doesn't count. To make such a statement shows your ignorance and arrogance. So former Massachusetts residents don't have the right to move to other "good" states, huh?

My wife (from Massive2shitts) had 4 siblings. Two of them still live in Mass. The other three all live in NH. (Well, her brother died, but he lived in NH for many years before he died.)

Move to a state in play where your conservative votes really count. Unfortunately Mass. looks like a lost cause for some time to come. I hope I am wrong though.

After the DUmmies destroy their first state (Mass or California) then they bring their stupid agenda to the next state.

Like rats jumping from ship to ship...bringing diseases to the new states.

Two main reasons:

1. Smart conservative citizens are sick of the taxes, and corrupt liberal governments.

2. Drunk liberal idiots and leftist homosexuals don't do a good job of procreating.

Of course they do. I didn't go into any detail before, but my point is that a population must have some serious social dysfunction if it continually elects near-socialists to office year after year, especially when problems show no sign of improvement.

I was born and raised in Maine but elected to leave the state for a better job. The job I landed (in the late 70s) was in MA but, even though I wasn't especially politically minded back then I was smart enough to realize that becoming a MA resident was not a good move. Have lived in NH ever since. In a couple of years we are going to move back to Maine and will take our conservative ways with us (which Maine badly needs).

Yep, that's the plan. My wife and I come from a very red part of the state, but it's not enough to overcome the blue population centers.

Maybe some deleterious effects have to be felt by large # of brain-dead voters if they are to rid themselves of liberal diseased social effects and it's govt. promoters.
