Insulting and threatening Jesus and Muhammad
The American Thinker ^ | Jan. 15, 2006 | James M. Arlandson

Conclusion

What if the law of Muhammad absorbed his pagan social environment too fully? He ordered the hands of male and female thieves to be cut off. He ordered the hands and feet of highway robbers to be cut off, along with crucifixion. He allowed sex with slave-girls and female prisoners of war. He and his community practiced the slave trade. He even tortured some hapless victims, such as an old woman. He reinstituted stoning for adultery, in his own way. He beat alcoholics. And as we have seen in this present article, he ordered assassinations and wars. So what kind of mission was this, anyway?

For the ten years that Muhammad lived in Medina (AD 622-632), he either went out on or sent out seventy-four raids and wars, ranging from small assassination hit squads to full-scale, large battles. After his death of a fever in 632, his leading Companions followed his example, waging wars on Arab pagans, forcing them either to convert or die. After that, Islamic armies stormed out of the Arabian Peninsula and conquered territories, north, east, and west. For the next four centuries Islam embarked on its own Crusades, long before the Europeans responded with their own. What kind of mission was this, anyway?

As for the mission of Christ, he gave us principles of dignity. Society can draw from them in practical ways, such as helping and restoring alcoholics and adulterers instead of whipping and stoning them. Jesus seeks to transform sinners from the inside out. He offers everyone inner freedom. All peoples have the choice to follow him. If they do not, then they are free to go their own way. Christians do not (or should not) harass and persecute them by legal or other means.

Nice summary of the contrasting ways that Muhammed and Jesus reacted to insults and threats. Article has extensive notes of specific instances to back up his conclusions. I had to also excerpt from the "Conclusion" section because I couldn't use over 300 words in an excerpt.

Mohammed was a drug-addicted pedophile whose "religion" is the embodiment of pure evil.

Just about everything we know of Mohammad, if he existed, we get from people who claimed to have been his companions.

They were a rough bunch.

The large bulletin board at my campus has a poster filled with really bizarre claims on how Islam and Christianity is similar--all under the themes of "tolerance" and "diversity."

Excellent post--I should really post this up there for the sake of truth, but I'd probably get hit by the educrats in the university administration for it. And probably sent to a re-education camp (shudder).

Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (pbuh) was once asked: "What is the best deed?" He replied: "To have faith in Allah and His Messenger." The enquirer asked: "What next?" The Prophet (pbuh) said: "To fight in the cause of Allah." "What is the next best thing?" He replied: "To perform Haj Mabrur."

"Master, which is the great commandment in the law?"
Jesus said unto him, "Thou shalt love he Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

Are you insulting the pedophiles? How un-inclusive of you. I bet you even vote Republican.

"Further, Satan tempted Jesus to grab all of the kingdoms of the world, by ways other than God’s. In his times, these ungodly ways included military conquests and political control. He blessedly turned down Satan’s offer. So it is true that his kingdom is not of this world. After his propitiatory death and resurrection, he told his disciples to preach his message of love around the Roman Empire. His disciples carried out his nonviolent mission, and for the next few centuries they transformed the empire by proclamation alone.

Thus, the two missions of the two founders are different indeed."

Hmmmm....Satan wanted Jesus to do what Muhammad ended up doing: use violence, murder, slavery, fear and treachery to gain power.

Sure seems like the war against Satan is in full swing on Earth, as we speak.....today, here and now.

Thank you posting this. Exposing Muhammad for the narcissistic, murderous conniver that he was will be the only way to fight Islam. There is no peace or love in the teachings of this antichrist, Muhammad. What better way to prove this than by comparing his life to the life of Jesus?

Islam = antichrist?

Of course. islam is a satanistic death cult. Now if it is The Anti-Christ I guess we'll just have to watch from heaven after the rapture and find out.

It is THAT important.

I think I will, if I can figure out how to do so in a way that won't trigger a mob going after my neck.

Though at my campus, anything that mentions race, sexual orientation, or Islam in anything but a positive, rosy light is going to incite a riot. Case in point: The bizarre Islam/Christian poster is on one of several "Diversity Club" bulletin boards.

There's been a few incidents last semester, though the one making the state news involved a student senator.

I'm one of the more outspoken conservatives on campus, known by a lot of people, and working on trying to rebuild a CR's group that doesn't seem to be very strong. So, I don't want to drag the CR's down the hole with me (guilty by association) either, unless I have to.

I understand. How about a simple poster advertising The American Thinker website with a list of various topics from the website?
