I am glad I got the ones I gave as gifts at the farmer's market.

No. Since no abortions take place that way.

Let me know if the day ever comes when I can buy these things again. Until then, this is too easy not to boycott.

Who said he was a friend? I have no problem targetting him.
I know people on this board who have targeted friends, just because they slightly disagree. I am glad to see someone targetting REAL enemies

Texas grows a lot of poinsettias. I will look into whether these growers are affiliated with the Ecke family's enterprise.

Funny thing: All of the Paul Eckes in California give a heck of a lot of
money to Republicans for such a bunch of staunch abortion supporters.
To: AmishDude
I wouldn't say that he gives a lot to the GOP, it's a fairly average amount for someone of his wealth, and it doesn't compare to the $250K that he gave to Planned Parenthood.

Yeah, but it's really strange. Especially since the quotes seem to claim that abortion is, so to speak, genetic in the family.
To: AmishDude
From what I could see, he gave nearly all of the money to California politicians (I saw where he also gave to Feinstein), it is not unusual for businessmen to give money to politicians that they disagree with if there is a business advantage to it.
I would be more interested to see what he give to candidates in elections for the state legislature.

Well, yeah, there are some Freepers who like to kill babies, and there are some Freepers who like to scrag their elderly parents by starving them to death.
For the most part, though, the rest of us try to ignore them to the degree possible.
