Israel has not been an historic aggressor of her neighbors. And you make it seem like they have other options besides taking "the hard line". Israel is willing to co-exist with the arabs/Muslims. They(the Muslims/Arabs) have fought tirelessly to destroy Israel.
As long as they can export non Jews, or hold them in camps where they get no vote and can work for nothing. If this doesn't remind you of Mississippi or grape pickers I don't know what does. The only difference here is that Martin Luther King was not there to show them how to fight without violence. I am not for the other side they have lots of issues themselves.
