Suicide already is a statistically significant cause of death among the elderly. And not much could be done about it, beyond making it more comfortable for the suicides. Their lives belong to them, to dispose of as they see fit.

No, their lives belong to God, not themselves. I watched my grandfather die naturally in Hospice care in September and the man never gave into suicide, not once, cause he was no coward. He lived and died a hero IMO!
