How can one forget he belongs to a club to which he writes a check for $100 each year?
As for it being something to be criticized for, he criticized Judge Alito for membership in an exclusive club; pointing out that Kennedy is a current, paying member of just such a club is completely fair.
Believe, Owl Club men don't need to "network," by and large. The final clubs are the old Harvard: rich and proud of it. It's exactly like Pi Delta Pi, only in a much higher socio-economic register. The $100 is just a token amount to remind the old boys about their drunken undergraduate days.
