One "plaintiff" in the nuisance lawsuits being filed against the Director of the NSA et al is none other than the granddaughter of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg -- Rachel Meeropol.
Lest we forget, the Rosenbergs were executed in 1953 for helping to pass US atom bomb secrets to the Soviet Union. (Most fittingly, Julius's KGB nom de guerre was "Liberal.")
True to her roots, Rachel is a Vice President of the New York City chapter of the communist National Lawyers Guild. She is also a fixture in some of the most ultra left organizations out there, such as The Children Of Resistance.
Of course you'd never know any of this from our watchdog media who are promoting the story, such as the Associated Press...
Media darlings Ethel and Julius Rosenberg.

Looked like a nice, well-grounded couple.
A "it must run in the family" ping.
That certainly takes the cake.
Yup, a nice well grounded couple that thought it dangerous and wrong for the evil US to be the worlds only superpower, so they gave the nuke technology away to the Russians. I don't wish anything worse on Clinton, Gore, and the rest that gave the nuke tech away to the Chinese than what happened to the Rosenbergs.
Another crazy Bolshevik and the ACLU. Great.
You have got to be kidding me
The evil clearly does run in the family.
Of course, as a Jew, albeit a JINO, she'd be high on the list for al quada to kill.
Of course, Stalin loved Jews almost as much as OBL does, and that didn't stop her family.
Could you remind me when the executions are set for Clinton and Algore for selling nuke secrets to the Chi-Coms in return for cold, hard cash?
"Looked like a nice, well-grounded couple."
Spies and serial killers generally do.
If they looked like Chuck Manson, they couldn't get away with what they do.
Again, how does she KNOW they have her " tapped?"
How does she have STANDING -- because she's their grandchild?
And is the ACLU really going for 2?

So would the NY Times' Sulzberger family...but that doesn't stop the paper from doing its best to undermine U.S. national security and bring about the demise of Israel.
Rosenberg Fund for ChildrenThe Rosenberg Fund for Children is a non-profit fund founded in 1990 by Robert Meeropol and named in honor of his parents Ethel and Julius Rosenberg, the only two United States civilians to be executed for conspiracy to commit espionage during the Cold War. Meeropol established the fund "to provide for the educational and emotional needs of children whose parents have suffered because of their progressive activities and who, therefore, are no longer able to provide fully for their children." The mission has since been expanded to provide grants for "the educational and emotional needs of targeted activist youth".
As of 2004, the organization has given over $1.7 million in grants.

Your tax dollars at work.
I saw Ethel's brother (who testified against them in return for a reduced sentence) on the History Channel being interviewed in 2003 on the 50th anniversary of the execution of these traitors. He was asked why he didn't try to escape to the Soviet Union and this rotten creep who had supplied nuclear info. through his sister to the Marxists replied "Why would I want to spend the rest of my life in that dump?!!!"

People like this should not be allowed to live in this country!I don't give a rat's as* about their opinions or their philosophy,i've heard it all before and sick of their whining to the courts to force minority rule.
Hmmm. . . since the program only targetted communications one party to which was a known or suspected Al Qaeda operative, should we take it from her claim of legal standing to file such a suit that she has been communicating with known or suspected Al Qaeda operatives?
The traitor DNA has been passed down. Hope this fruitloop is a lesbian.
If he wanted to honor them, why didn't he keep their last name?
Despite all of the liberals attempts at revisionism, the declassification of the Venona files showed that the Rosenbergs were guilty as charged and got exactly what they deserved.
I think that well grounded comment referred to the method of execution, they were electrocuted.
Nah, he's an Episcopalian.
That's my question: how does she KNOW she has standing?
That Apple didn't fall too far from the Tree. Speaking of Trees and short ropes.....
Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters
Levin is having a canary about it.
"Again, how does she KNOW they have her " tapped?" How does she have STANDING -- because she's their grandchild?"
The rest of the article answers some of your questions. But it kept being deleted (even though the AP material was heavily excerpted).
But in a nutshell, Rachel is working with the CCR, which is defending terrorists and their enablers, like Lynne Stewart.
So she might be in fact correct. Since she was probably talking to Al Qaeda members on a regular basis.
"Levin is having a canary about it."
I would have sent it too him earlier, but he gets too much mail.
He got it somehow. ;-)
He got it somehow. ;-)
"cuse me I burped.
So THAT's who she is!! She was on Dayside this morning.... what I thought of her cannot be repeated here.
I saw a little of that also, I threw a pillow at the tv!
"If he wanted to honor them, why didn't he keep their last name?"
He and his brother Michael were adopted by some lefty songwriters:
"The Rosenbergs' children
The Rosenbergs' two sons, Robert and Michael, were orphaned by the execution, and no relatives dared adopt them for fear of ostracism or worse. They were finally adopted by the songwriters Ann and Abel Meeropol. Abel Meeropol wrote the classic anti-lynching anthem "Strange Fruit," made famous by singer Billie Holiday. Robert and Michael co-wrote a book about the experience, We are your sons: The legacy of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg (1975), and Robert wrote another book in 2004, An execution in the family: One son's journey. In 1990, Robert founded the Rosenberg Fund for Children, a non-profit foundation which provides support for children whose parents are Left-wing activists involved in court cases.
Michael's daughter, Ivy Meeropol, directed a 2004 documentary about her grandparents, Heir to an Execution, which was featured at the Sundance Film Festival."

All of the descendents have managed to make nice careers out of being the offspring of the Rosenbergs.
What did she say?
Pinch Sr. is Jewish. Pinch Jr. was raised Episcopal by his mom. I doubt the jihadists will make a distinction.
Plaintiff Rachel Meeropol, an attorney at the center, said she believes she has been targeted. "I'm personally outraged that my confidential communication with my clients may have been listened to by the U.S. government," she said.
Maybe ...
She knows she has had contact with the terrorists
Or someone in the know (Rockefeller) clued her in
Or she is just blowing smoke
see #38
Her clients are known terrorists???
Oh, geez... Sorry your bolshevik grandparents got fried, little Rachel. Hope you and the rest of the American Left will be joining them soon...
Is there a big call for that?
Thanks. Listening to Mark Levin bust a gut on this.
Rosenbergs??? This is good news in disguise.
What ever happened to the days when people who crossed Uncle Sam simply disappeared? Oh, thats right Clinton couldn'tt run for a 3ed term.
Are they clones???
a non-profit foundation which provides support for children whose parents are Left-wing activists involved in court cases. Is there a big call for that?
Oh, they "branched out" long ago.
This is the kind of stuff they do now:
The RFC marked its 15th anniversary by producing a dramatic reading of Guantanamo: 'Honor Bound To Defend Freedom,' a powerful new play about the "enemy combatants" detained by the US Navy in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The event was held at the Academy of Music Theatre in Northampton, MA on June 19th (the anniversary of the Rosenbergs' executions). Click below for information, relevant links and photos.

What a cute couple. Their friends always said they went together like a hammer and sickle.
