I initially thought Barrett Report and diversionary tactic, but discounted it for the following reasons:

1- timing was tad premature. The difference between uproar and fizzle is often only two days.

2- this rhetoric is just the usual clinton ethnic disrespect, generally, and black degradation, in particular. I don't think the clintons anticipated this reaction. The rhetoric is wholly consistent with the left's plantation politics... and no one they need to retain their power, e.g., leftist voters and media, ever complained about it before.

3- From what I gather, this brilliant bit of speechifying was not scripted, (and thus confirms miss hillary's need for a script). She was responding to the question: "Why did you vote for the war?" (And hence the vitriol and projection.)

I suppose you could say miss hillary's leftwing racecard vitriol was to divert attention AWAY FROM HER VOTE FOR THE WAR.
